SINGING LESSONS

with Guy Hughes

Why take singing lessons?

Your voice is your own unique instrument. Together we can help you harness your sound and explore your potential.

If you’re a regular singer, you’ll know the importance of keeping your voice active. But as well as singing regularly, it’s useful to understand what’s happening technically, in order to help you improve. In your lessons we will work with you to improve your voice, develop a more reliable singing technique and build confidence so that you can perform with more ease and joy.

You might be looking for lessons to:

  • Expand your range

  • Learn to sing and belt safely

  • Improve your tone

  • Learn how to stop your voice tiring out

  • Explore new repertoire

Singing for Beginners…All Welcome!

If you’re looking to explore singing properly for the first time, then you’re in the right place!

Most of us will sing from time to time, but not many have had the chance to explore their technique. It’s never too late to learn more about your own unique instrument, and the thing that can bring so many of us so much joy!

As well as having a wealth of experience working with professional performers in music and theatre, Guy is also passionate about working with people who are relatively new to singing. Alongside teaching one-to-one sessions, he also regularly runs workshops in different communities exploring singing technique, ensemble singing and song writing. As well as being a useful vehicle for self-expression, singing can also be a brilliant way of connecting with your community to bring people closer together, as well as building confidence and improving mental wellbeing.
